Museum Passes

The Amherst Town Library offers free museum passes and discount coupons for local and Boston-area museums to Amherst Town Library cardholders.

Passes are generously funded by the Friends of the Amherst Town Library.

Using a museum pass is easy! First, reserve the pass for a specific date up to 3 months in advance. Reservations can be made by phone, fax, email or online. Online reservations require your library barcode and pin number.

Next, pick up the pass on the scheduled pick-up day (usually the day before the reservation). You should have your library card in hand and should not have excessive overdue fines or unresolved fees for lost materials.

Museum passes are due back to the library the following day to ensure that they are available to other patrons. Failure to return the pass will result in fines. (Exception: Dated paper passes for the Musuem of Fine Arts, Museum of Science, Boston Children's Museum, and Squam Lakes Natural Science Center do not need to be returned to the library.)
