When the Amherst Town Library does not have the material you are looking for, we can often request what you need from another (lending) library that will send the material to us on your behalf.
Response time will depend on the lending library.

There is no charge for this service when materials are obtained from another New Hampshire library. The Amherst Town library charges five dollars for each request made to libraries outside of New Hampshire. The source library may also charge for the loan.
