You are invited to join the Friends of the Amherst Library as we visit
the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum with its new glass wing addition.

filled atrium. It houses over 2,500 objects - paintings, sculpture, furniture,
textiles, drawings, silver, illuminated manuscripts, rare books and photographs
from Ancient Rome, Medieval Europe, Renaissance Italy, Asia, the Islamic
world and 19th century France and America. Among the highlights are works
by Botticelli, Titian, Vermeer, Sargent and Whistler.
Price: $40
(includes coach, ISG admission, and driver’s gratuity). Among the
free public tours are an Introductory talk, an Architecture tour, and
a Collection Highlights tour. Departs at 9:15 from the Meeting Place (Rte.
