The Amherst Town Library subscribes to a variety of databases that can help you with your homework. What is a database? A database is a resource the library has purchased that contains the text of reference books, magazine articles and multimedia files. These are high quality, edited sources that have verified information. Remember, not all information on the Internet comes from an accurate source. When using information from a general search, for example a Google search, make sure to look for the source of information. If you cannot remember your PIN number, next time you are in the library ask at the circulation desk.
